Obituary

Ernest Henderson Sr. was born April 17th, 1922 to the parentage of Dan Henderson and Hattie Turner-Henderson in Omaha, Texas. He attended Elementary School in Omaha and graduated from High School in Naples, Texas in Morris County. He Received his Bachelor's degree from Arkansas AM&N and did further studying at Tuskeegee Institute, Arizona State University, University of Arkansas, and received his Master's degree from Southern Arkansas University.  

He served three years of duty in India as a medic from 1942 to 1945. He also ranked in the military as a Sergeant.

Ernest met married Kathryn Copeland and to this union, one child was born which was Ernest Henderson Jr.

He was a teacher in the Emerson school system for a number of years and he was also employed at Magnolia Independent School District until he retired in the early 1980's.

Preceding him in death were his parents, all of his siblings, and his wife.

Those left to cherish his precious memories are; his son, Ernest Henderson Jr.; his grand-daughter, MaKeara Henderson; his great grandson, Sebastian Henderson-Boucaud; his grandson-in-law, Jean-Paul Boucaud; and number of family members and dear friends.
