On Friday, July 10, 2020, God called home one of his faithful servants, Steward Henry Lee Gulley. He was born on February 13, 1948 in Rosston, Arkansas to DeWillie and Lodia Gulley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers (Willie, Althemier, Wayman & J.D) and a son Tracy McKinney.
Henry graduated from Oak Grove in 1967. He attended college at Arkansas A M & N College in Pine Bluff which is now known as UAPB. In 1968 he joined the United States Air Force where he was stationed at Albuquerque, New Mexico. He received a honorable discharge from the Air Force in 1974.

On October 6, 1973, he was united in holy matrimony to Viola McKinney of Willisville, Arkansas. To this union they were the parents of three kids – one girl and two boys.

At a very early age, he joined Cana AME Church in Rosston, Arkansas where he was a very active member, steward, Sunday School teacher/secretary and any other role that he needed to filled. Whenever he was not at his home church he was always fellowshipping at New Bethel in Rosston. He was the lead guitar player for the Bright Star for several years, for the Delta Spiritual for thirty-three years and the Young Circuit Male Chorus until his health begin to fail him. He was a very active servant in the Rosston’s Community. He was very passionate about making sure the history of the Oak Grove Panther lived on with school reunions. 
He was a very faithful dependable employee for 37 years at Amfuel in Magnolia, Arkansas.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of forty-eight years Viola Gulley; his daughter Angala Moss (son-n-law Leavy) of Magnolia, AR; one son Patrick (Keosha) Gulley of Willisville, AR; three grandchildren Ricardo and Christopher Moss; Kaysha Williams; one sister Mary (Willis, SR) London of Pine Bluff, AR; three brothers – Mercal T Gulley, SR of Prescott, AR; Lazarus (Arizona) Gulley of Rosston, AR; Eddie Lee (Helen) Gulley of Rockford, IL; sister-in laws: Octavia Wingfield of Emmet, AR; Ocie Hill of Dallas, TX; Nadine McKinney of Texarkana, TX; one brother-n-law George McKinney of Willisville, AR; his classmates of 1967; the Amfuel Family; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
