“I’m Free”

“Don’t mourn for me, I’m Free
The struggle is finally finished
My spirit’s free, my body’s at rest
Yet I am not diminished
I’ve simply moved to that Heavenly phase
Of God’s almighty plan.
Having completed the trials of life,
In Heaven’s peace is where I stand
Untouched by the pain that assailed my body,
Unaffected by the illness’ rage.
Grateful that the struggle is finally over
That I’ve moved beyond such a difficult stage.”
