      Jesse Robert Miller, child of Sarah and Edward Miller was born April 29, 1928 in Springfield, Illinois receiving his formal education at Feitshan High School in Springfield, Illinois.
He attended Pleapart Grove Baptist Church while in Springfield, Illinois.
He was active as a Deacon and was also a Sunday School Superintendent at New Hope Baptist Church of Emerson, AR.
He retired as a carpenter in the Chicago-land area.  He moved to Waldo, Arkansas in 1990.
He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Jesse lived a life of accomplishment, and will be truly missed by many.  He departed this life to rest on August 16, 2011 in Waldo, AR.
His two sisters, Lida Idlebird, Florence Barbee and one brother Edward Miller, Jr preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife Darlene Miller of Emerson, Arkansas, sibling, Hallie Jamison, his children, Jesse Miller, Jr. (Springfield, IL), La Maurice Miller (Springfield, IL), Virginia C. Miller (Minneapolis, MN), Ruth Ann Miller (Springfield, IL), Mary Jo Miller (Plymouth, MN), Paul Miller (Clinton, MD), Lynette Johnson (Chicago, IL); thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a host of friends to mourn his passing.
