She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings Leroy, Virda D., C.W. and Mordell. She was a faithful member and served at the Pittman St. Church of Christ until her health failed her.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Benjamin Monk of McNeil, AR. Three grandchildren: Dedra Morris (James) of Stamps, AR , Ashley Adebogun (Oladele) of Flower Mound, TX, Yannick Monk of Hope, AR, two great-grandchildren: Ifemi Adebogun and Tayo Adebogun. Two brothers: Thelvis Johnson of Magnolia, AR and Oree Johnson, Sr. (Evanglean) of Emerson, AR. One sister: Ada B. Critton of El Dorado, AR, one special: Sister-in-Law, Mae Lena Johnson of Camden, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

“Bring us, O Lord God, at our last awakening, into the house and gate of heaven, to enter into that gate, and dwell in that house where there shall be no darkness nor dazzling, but one equal light; no noise nor silence, but one equal music; no fears nor hopes, but one equal possession; no ends nor beginnings, but one equal eternity;
in the habitation of thy glory and dominion, world without end. “
  Amen.
