Mrs Ora Lee (Adams) Hildreth was born February 26, 1927 in Simsboro, Louisiana to Mr. Samuel and Mrs. Mary Adams. She was a long time resident of Magnolia and Mount Holly, Arkansas and spent the past five years as a resident of Flint, Michigan. She went home to rest and walk around Heaven with God, December 19, 2011 at Avalon Hospice in Flint, MI.
Ora joined New Hope Baptist Church in Mount Holly, AR at an early age and later became a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR.
Ora joined in holy matrimony with S. A. Hildreth, and to this union four children were born. Their loving and devoted children are: Levell Hildreth, Margie Ann Ward, Vernell Hildreth and Catherine (Jo) Hildreth.
She was a wonderful homemaker, seamstress, quilt-maker, avid gardener, craftsman, decorator, baker, and had a green thumb when it came to plants and flowers. She enjoined fishing, singing, watching black and white westerns, The Texas Rangers and Deal or No Deal on television.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Sam and Mary Adams; husband, S.A. Hildreth; brother, P.H. Adams; sister, Georgia B. Lewis; son-in-law, William S. Ward; and grandson, Derrick M. Ward.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Children: Levell (Earlene) Hildreth, Margie ( Ernest Lewis) Ward, Catherine "Jo" (Greg Price) Hildreth of Flint MI and Vernell ( Joann) Hildreth of Lindale, Texas; grandchildren: William (Stacey) Ward, Jr. of Mount Holly, AR, Richard J. Hildreth, Felicia "Sha" Tucker, Keith and Michael J. Sanders of Flint, MI, Veronica (Craig) Miles of Marshall, TX and Eric (Chelsea) Hildreth of Lindale, TX; great grandchildren: Taneisha Johnson, D.J. Ward, Shanice Lowe, Serenity Hildreth and Maddox Hicks of Flint, MI, Raeven and Hailie Ward of El Dorado, AR Sequan Ward of Mount Holly, AR, Dewon and Ryon Hildreth of Palm Bay, Florida, Montrail, Darrail, Domonique and Mariah Johnson of Marshall, TX, Victoria and Eric Hildreth, Jr. of Lindale, TX; great-great grandchildren: MacArthur Swist and Ariyah Barbee of Flint, MI; sisters: Velonia Palmer of Flint, MI and Earlene Creer of Mount Holly, AR, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
