Obituary

Sis. White was born August 31, 1934, in Magnolia, Arkansas to Hosie Jamerson and Mattie Warren. She was an only child. She departed this life on February 21, 2020, at Springhill Medical Center in Springhill, LA.

As a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, she enjoyed singing in the choir and was very involved in Sunday School Class Number 4. She looked forward to working with the annual church picnic.

Sis. White had an appreciation for all genres of music. She was often heard singing around the house. She served faithfully from the beginning of the Columbia Alumni Association School Reunion. She worked at Firestone/Amfuel for many years until her health forced her to retire.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Nathaniel White, and one son, Michael Clark. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Vincent White, of Little Rock, AR, three daughters, Janice Johnson of Magnolia, Belenda (Judge) Larry of Springhill, LA, and Jennifer White of Duncanville, TX. She was known as Grand mommy to four grandchildren, Juston (Chukakhun) Larry of Lancaster, TX, Deirdre (Demarcus) Noble of Desoto, TX, Brittani Larry of Dallas, TX and Megan White of Little Rock, AR. She was Grangran to five great-grandchildren, Justice Larry, Jaliah Larry, Chalondria Larry, Bayleigh Larry, and Lightning Noble. She also leaves a host of relatives and friends.
