Lee Lockhart Sr was born on February 19, 1928, to the parenting of Leroy Sr and Elsie Lockhart.
Leroy joined the Military (Army) in 1946 and moved to Kansas City where he met his first wife, Ann Lockhart. Once divorced, he met and married Doris Luxury-Lockhart.
Leroy was the owner-operator of his own Mechanic Shop but decided to start a career at General Motors where he later retired.
He loved to hunt and fish; Leroy was known as the pillar of his community. Leroy was not only a father to his sons, but he was also their best friend.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, Leroy Sr. and Elsie Lockhart, first wife, Ann Lockhart and second wife, Doris Lockhart.
Leroy leaves to cherish his memories: his sons, Leroy Lockhart Jr, Gordon Lockhart Sr and Darryl Jamerson; daughter, Vanessa Tyler, stepdaughter, Shun Taylor; grandson, Gordon Lockhart Jr, grand-daughter, Kelajah Lockhart and Angel Lockhart Sears and eight additional grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind two special nephews, Wayne Leroy Lockhart and Dean Lockhart, one special cousin, Ruby, three friends, Carl, Flapper and Winston and a host of other relatives and friends.
