Linda Lou Morgan began her earthly life on September 2, 1941, and was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Linda was the third (3rd) of eight children born to the late Fred and Glen Jones.
Linda accepted Christ at an early age and united with the St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir as well as served in the kitchen, doing what she loved, cooking, serving and TALKING with people.
Linda worked numerous jobs, but her pride and joy was working in the Stephens School District as a cook and server in the cafeteria. She absolutely loved working at the school. She loved each and every student and greeted each and every student with a hug and a kiss every single day. Linda truly took care of the kids, and they took care of her. Linda was definitely a lover of people, just like her Mom, she never met a stranger and giving to others was her absolute joy.
Linda was married to the late Almon Morgan for forty-two (42) years. To this union there was a total of seven (7) Children, two of which she already had, three he already had and two they had together.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband (Almon), her parents (Fred and Glen Jones), along with five (5) siblings: Mable Jean Sanders, Freddine Flowers, Harold Morgan and Willis "Buster" Jones.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory: her children: Pamela Johnson (Terry) of Cedar Hills, TX. Kimberly Dismuke (Roy Lee) of El Dorado, AR, Stacy Morgan and Glynnis "Meco" Morgan of Stephens, AR, Tommy Ray Morgan of Dallas, TX, Phyllis Morgan Cooper (Steve) of Glenn Hughes, TX and James Morgan (deceased) of Dallas, TX. Five (5) grandsons: Regis, Terrance "TeJa", Cornelious "Rock", Kyron and Gavin, Three (3) granddaughters: Makya, Faith and Hope, Five (5) great grandchildren: Reginae, Daylon, Draylon, Rylee and Kyrielle Dismuke. She also leaves to cherish her memory two (2) sisters: Janie Jones and Glendean Zachery (Henry) of Stephens, AR, three (3) sister-in-laws: Margaret Ann Jones of Stephens, AR, Catherine Moore (Larry) of Bearden, AR and Mattie Hunter. Two (2) brother-in-laws: Henry Zachary of Stephens, AR and David Morgan of Montevello, CA. One (1) aunt: Addie Mae Box of Stephens, AR. She also leaves to cherish her memory special friends: Patsy Witcher and Doris Green, and Odie Mae Richard, and a host of nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends that she loved with all of her heart. Linda was loved by many, and she loved them all.
