Lloyd "Carl" Turner was welcomed into this world on April 18, 1948, by his parents, Leon and Caroline Turner in Stephens, AR. He was one of six boys. Although he grew up in Stephens, Carl later moved to Magnolia, AR where he was a graduate of Columbia High School with the class of 1966. Carl departed this life on May 28, 2024, at his home surrounded by family and love.
Brother Turner was employed as a Quality Inspector at Vaught in Camden, AR for many years until he became unable to work. Professing his hope and faith in Christ, he attended First United Methodist Church of Camden, AR. He was a hard worker and dedicated father.
He is proceeded in death by both parents, four brothers: Eddie Lee, Leroy, Earven Jr. and Ernest. Two sons: Michael and Kenneth Turner.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his lifetime companion; Betty Hardiman of Camden, AR. Two sons: Carl Anthony Turner and Adrian Turner of Little Rock, AR. Five daughters: Tamiko (Lewis) Thomas of Alexander, AR, Carla Turner of Magnolia, AR, Tiffany Turner of Conway, AR and Keisha and Whitney Hardiman of Camden, AR. Three stepbrothers: Elree, Earl and Archie Lee Turner. Twenty-Two grandchildren. One great-grandchild. One brother, Cal (Sharon) Turner, of Dumfries, VA. A host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
