Robert Jefferson Obituary

Robert Jefferson

A Life Remembered A Beautiful Life Honored

“In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” --Proverbs 3:6 KJV
Robert “Rob” Jefferson, born October 24, 1950, in Chidester, Arkansas, entered this world as a
blessing to his parents, the late Tempers and Reccie Mae Blair Jefferson. He graduated from
Oak Grove High School in 1969 and later united with Mt. Zinia Baptist Church, where he
faithfully served as a deacon and devoted Sunday School teacher for 35 years. Rob loved the
Lord and lived out his faith with humility, strength, and a servant’s heart.
September 8, 1979, Rob married Arnette Green, the love of his life and his God‐given partner in
every season. Their home was filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering devotion. The Lord
blessed their union with one son, Robert Earl, who became the heartbeat of Rob’s world. Rob
poured his energy, his love, and his whole spirit into his family. After working for many years at
Elk Roofing, Celotex, and Deltic, Rob retired from CMC Steel.
A true outdoorsman, Rob found joy and peace in God’s creation. Whether hunting in the quiet
woods or casting a line into still waters, he enjoyed his hobbies to the fullest. His happiest
moments were spent with Arnette, his son, Robert Earl; his grandson, Christian Robert; his
great‐grandson, Kyson Robert. Rob’s life was a testimony of faith, family, and the beauty of
God’s creation. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his godparents, Roland and Rosie Fisher; three sisters,
Fannie Jefferson, Lucille Jefferson, and Versina Lindsey; and one brother, Bro. Joseph Jefferson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 46 years, Arnette Green Jefferson; his
son, Robert Earl Jefferson; four grandchildren—Kasi Moore, Christian Robert Jefferson, Kendra
Phillips, and Koby McDonald; and three great‐grandchildren—Kash, Kali, and Kyson Robert. He
is also survived by four sisters—Joyce Fricks, Claudia Green (Earl), Mattie Thomas (Dale), and
Linda Penny; two brothers—Leonard Jefferson (Anita) and James Williams; two
sisters‐in‐law—Doris Green and Charlean Jefferson; two godsons—Earl Green and Kenneth
Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly. FOREVER IN
OUR HEARTS In Loving Memory of a Very Special Husband
