Robert Kenneth 'Ken' Ensley was born on January 31, 1951, in Ruston, Louisiana, to Robert John Ensley and the late Orpah Blake. On March 24, 2026, at the age of 75, Ken gracefully departed this life.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Shady Grove C.ME. Church in Simsboro, Louisiana. He graduated from Ellis High School in 1969 in Stamps, Arkansas. After military service in the US Army, he spent several years working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before settling in Stamps, Arkansas, where he lived for the remainder of his life.
Ken was blessed with children, Wayne Kenneth Ensley and Celesta Fifi Ensley. Ken also lovingly extended as family Helen Stricklen, Heltina Henderson, Amariana Johnson, Akeem Hardwell, and Aubriaunna Madison.
He is preceded in death by his mother, son, and stepfather, Theodore 'Coach' Blake.
Ken leaves to cherish his memory his father Robert John Ensley and stepmother Maggie Ensley of Garland, Texas; his daughter Celesta Fifi Ensley of Bel Air, Maryland; his siblings Linda Williams of Durham, NC; Chrystal Blake of Brook Park, Ohio; Richard Ensley and Bartholomew Ensley of Dallas, Texas; along with many relatives and friends across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.
Robert Kenneth Ensley’s service will be held at Marks Funeral Home Chapel, 1392 Jackson, Magnolia, Arkansas, 71753 on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10 AM where Reverend Alvis Hamilton will serve as Eulogist. Interment will be at Grambling Memorial Gardens, US-80 Grambling, Louisiana, 71245. Repass held at 221 Davis Road, Simsboro, LA 71275. Visitation will be held at Marks Funeral Home Chapel on Friday April 10, 2026: Family (10 AM – 12PM); Public (12 PM – 3PM).
