A celebration of life for Ruthie Lee Evans will be held at 11 am on
Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Youngblood Auditorium, 611 S. Madison St. Magnolia, AR.
The Family Hour will begin at 11 am
on Friday, February 14, 2025 with public visitation beginning at Noon
at Marks Funeral Home at 1392 S. Jackson, Magnolia, AR. Cards may
be sent to PO Box 55962, Little Rock, AR 72215. Floral arrangements

Ruthie Lee Evans, 79, of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday,
February 9, 2025, at The Green House Cottages of Wentworth Place in
Magnolia, AR. She was born September 17, 1945 to A.D. and Mamie
Evans in Cale, AR. She married Claud Douglas Moss in April 1966. To
this union nine children were born. She was preceded in death by her
parents, her brothers: Jonathan Evans Sr., Ernest Lee Evans, and Alvin
David Evans; and her grandson Seaven Fleming. She leaves to cherish
her memories: five sons: Douglas (Cassandra) Moss of Magnolia, AR;
Michell (Darlene) Moss of Malvern, AR; Kenneth (Leah) Moss of
Morgan’s Point, TX; Leavy (Angala) Moss of Magnolia, AR; Naaman
(LaVonda) Moss of Arkadelphia, AR; four daughters: Carla (Patrick)
Morris of Little Rock, AR; Shaniel (Alvin) Gulley of Magnolia, AR;
Claudette (Denacious) Grantt of Magnolia, AR; LaRuth (Adrian) Ross
of Magnolia, AR; three brothers: Jewell (Debbie) Evans, Edward
Jackson, Quinton (Diane) Moss; nine sisters: Merine Tidwell, Diane
Purifoy, Nadine Quarles, Dexter (Richard) Young, Yvonne (Clarence)
Gulley, Frances Evans, Barbara Jackson, Virginia King, and Syble
(Charles) Marsh; twenty-one grandchildren: Douglas E. Moss, Sondra Moss, Veronica (Keith) Brown,
Daqwhan Moss, Kennieshia Moss, Ricardo Moss, Christopher Moss,
Jibri Rigsby, Logan Moss, Jacarree Wade, Khi Moss, Chandler Moss,
Kayden Moss, Zoey Moss, Deandra Gulley, Trevon Gulley, Alishia
Gulley, Dondrail Gulley, La’Trudy Grantt, Aiden Ross, Kingston Ross;
and six great-grandchildren: Natasia Washington, A’Keivyonna
Brown, Maomi Moore, Nadia Rigsby, Maliya Rigsby, and Kyzen Gulley.
