Velma Biddle

Mother Velma Biddle entered her eternal rest on September 10, 2022, at The Springs Nursing Home in Magnolia, AR. Velma was born October 23, 1940, to the late Emmit and Pollie Davis in Waldo, AR. 

Velma accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at The House of God in Waldo, AR (Lumber Community) under the leadership of Mother Ricks. She held many positions in the church, even when the leadership changed to Bishop Cecil Williams. In 2018, Mother Biddle united with True Worship Mission under the leadership of Pastor Joyce Easter. She was a Special Mother of the Church, and everyone knew that she loved her Pastor as her daughter. She was a faithful member until her health permitted her from attending and she will be deeply missed by her church family. 

Velma was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Pollie Davis, husband Hal Biddle and son James Hal Biddle.

Velma married Hal Biddle and to this union, two sons were born. 

Velma leaves to cherish her memories, One son: Donald Biddle of Magnolia. Two sisters: Mae Worthen of Las Vegas, NV and JoAnn McDowell of Pine Bluff, AR. One brother: James (Grapes) Davis of Waldo, AR. A special one and only sister-in-law, Shirley Davis of Waldo, AR. Two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. We would like to share that Betty Ruth Dismuke was her best friend and Paul James Young was her Boo!

Graveside service will be held at Smith Cemetery in Waldo, Arkansas. Pastor Joyce Easter will be officiating.
